14 Karat Yellow Gold Almandine Garnet and Pearl Earrings

Garnets and pearls pair wonderfully in these vintage earrings! Constructed from solid 14 karat yellow gold, each earring is prong set with a natural oval shaped almandine garnet weighing approximately one carat. The garnets are of a rich, warm reddish orange color which complements the yellow gold beautifully. Natural seed pearls surround each earring, providing a lovely contrast to the center garnets.

Recently purchased from a prominent local family, theses earrings look Victorian, however, we are assured they were made in the 1970's (50 years ago, not 150 years ago) although we can't be certain.
