Understated Vintage 14 Karat Yellow and White Gold Gem Quality Ceylon Blue Sapphire Solitaire Engagement Ring

This classically elegant 5 millimeter wide yellow gold band is graced with a beautiful round, 6 prong white gold setting. The basket style head holds a top quality 5.5 millimeter round Ceylon blue sapphire which weighs 86/100 carat. The color is just beautiful; rich and saturated! The ring is well made, substantial and shows no signs of wear even though it was produced in the late 1930's.

The ring measures 5 millimeters at its widest point and tapers in the back to 3.5 millimeters to ensure a comfortable fit.

The ring is a size 7 but could be easily sized larger or smaller in our own workrooms.
