Vintage 14 Karat Gold Opal and Pearl Necklace

This vintage 14 karat gold opal and pearl necklace is quite the lovely piece of craftsmanship. Made of solid 14 karat yellow gold, the piece features detailed hand engraving which flows around the entire piece. The center section measures 20 millimeters wide.

Prong set around the center section of the necklace are five fine matched Australian opals. Each natural opal measure 2 millimeters wide and is quite colorful and vibrant. The necklace is accented by three fine seed pearls. All eight gemstones give this piece a light and lovely appearance which could easily be dressed up or down.

The neckchain is made of solid 14 karat yellow gold. It is delicate yet strong and is secured with a lobster claw clasp. The entire necklace measures 18" in length.
