Antique Platinum and Gold Diamond Starburst Pendant

This antique platinum and gold diamond starburst pendant is a dazzling display of light! Made of solid yellow gold, the pendant is completed by a top section of solid platinum. The piece is suspended from a yellow gold enhancer bail which opens up to enable it to go over any strand of beads, pearls, chain or necklace. The back of the piece includes a pinback so that it may be worn as a brooch. The pendant measures 2 1/4 inches tall inclusive of bail and 1 3/4 inches wide. 

The center of the piece is prong set with a natural old European cut fancy light yellow diamond. This diamond is very lively and very clean (VS1), weighing approximately just under 1 1/2 carats. The piece is additionally prong set with 44 exceptionally brilliant old European cut white diamonds, all of which are very clean and white. These diamonds weigh approximately just under 3 1/2 carats. The total approximate weight of all 45 diamonds is over 4 1/2 carats.
