Custom Yellow Gold Moonstone and Ruby Pendant

This custom yellow gold moonstone and ruby pendant was specially made for a client. It was created from a brooch the client had which was no longer suitable for wear. We took the components and created for her a brand new pendant and earrings. We think the results are a complete success!

The pendant is bead set with a round moonstone cabochon of fine quality. The moonstone is lively and catches the light in such a beautiful way. It is surrounded by 14 natural round cut rubies. The deep red rubies create a wonderful contrast of color and tone, making for a very unique piece.

The natural gems are set in their original 14 karat yellow gold mounting. We added a sturdy bail so that this piece can be worn from a new 14 karat yellow gold neckchain.
