Custom Marquise Shaped Diamond Engagement Ring

Here is a gorgeous custom marquise shaped diamond engagement ring which we recently completed for a client. The client requested a two tone ring set with a marquise shaped diamond, and we had the perfect mounting!

This handmade 14 karat yellow gold mounting was never worn, but was made almost half a century ago, making it truly unworn vintage. The shoulders of the ring are bar set with four round brilliant cut diamonds weighing just under 1/3 carat in total. We then made a platinum setting and carefully integrated it into the ring. Finally, we set a beautiful marquise shaped diamond of top white color (F), minimal inclusion (Si2) and weighing just under 3/4 carat.
