Custom Oval Sapphire and Trillion Diamond Three Stone Ring

We created this custom oval sapphire and trillion diamond three stone ring to be a client's engagement ring. The ring is handmade of solid 14 karat yellow gold with solid platinum settings for the diamonds.

The center stone is an 8x6 millimeter natural oval cut sapphire of a striking Ceylon blue color. It is set in a yellow gold setting and weighs just under 2 carats. On each side of the sapphire is a 5 millimeter natural trillion cut diamond of top-white color and clarity. The diamonds are prong set in solid platinum for both security and beauty. The matched diamonds weigh just under 1/2 carat totally.
