14 Karat White Gold Australian Opal and Diamond Pendant

"Stunning" is the first word that comes to mind when viewing this 14 karat white gold Australian opal and diamond pendant. Made of solid 14 karat white gold and measures approximately 3/4 inch by 1/2 inch. The pendant is prong set with an incredibly vibrant fine natural Australian pear shaped opal. The opal exhibits a wonderful range and depth of colors, with intense blues, bright greens and subtle oranges and pinks.

This fine opal is surrounded by 7 fine matched single cut diamonds. The diamonds are prong set and weigh just under 1/4 carat in total. Single cut diamonds were used until the 1950's and are now uncommon in fine jewelry, making for a truly unique vintage piece.

The opal and diamond pendant is finished with a solid 14 karat white gold chain. The chain measures 18 inches long inclusive of a lobster claw catch, and is delicate yet very sturdy.
