Antique Yellow Gold Filigree Persian Turquoise Pin Pendant

This antique yellow gold filigree Persian turquoise pin pendant is an elegant classic. Handmade of 16 karat yellow gold, the piece measures 1 1/2 inches by 1 1/4 inches. It features highly detailed filigree work, all of which is in excellent condition.

The pin is bezel set with an untreated oval shaped Persian turquoise of the finest quality measuring approximately 14.5 millimeters by 12 millimeters. The turquoise is a lovely robin's egg blue color with next to no matrix. We estimate this to be an 8 carat Persian turquoise.

Beautiful as a brooch, this piece also makes a wonderful pendant when paired with a 14 karat yellow gold chain. It would also make for a stunning enhancer for  a strand of fine Akoya pearls.
