Vintage 14 Karat Yellow Gold Open Work Emerald Ring

This charming vintage 14 karat yellow gold ring was likely made sometime in the early 1970's. The ring in in excellent condition and displays detailed open work on the shoulders. The center of the ring is prong set with a lovely natural emerald cut emerald weighing over 1 and 1/4 carats. This beautiful emerald compliments the design of the ring perfectly.

The natural emerald displays a beautiful mint green color, as well as a lovely jardin (French for "garden"; a term used to describe the inclusions found in most emeralds) which is evocative of Springtime foliage. The emerald measures 8 1/2 millimeters by 6 1/2 millimeters.

The ring is currently a size 5 1/4 but could be sized to fit you comfortably.
