Vintage 18 Karat Yellow Gold Sculptural Emerald Ring

Unusual would be an understatement for this vintage 18 karat yellow gold sculptural emerald ring.  This organic design from the 1960's reminds us of underwater sea life at its most exotic. An artistic sculpture on the finger which is very much one-of-a-kind. The anemone-like setting embraces a fine quality round emerald of top color and clarity, weighing approximately 1/4 carat.

The ring is exceptionally heavy and very well made. It is currently a size 8 and has a spring action interior shank so that it would fit snugly over finger and not move around. However, this could be removed and the ring sized to fit you comfortably.
